ark, sexy, and seductive—mister parker’s is where over-the-top décor meets under-the-table mischief. It’s an intimate, upscale watering hole that draws dreamy aesthetes, wandering flâneurs, and swaggering dandies alike. A guy’s guy sort of place, it’s where the high-born mix with the lowbrow and bon vivants nurse the lugubrious.

mister parker’s enjoys its seasonal intermission from July 7 – September 2. We reopen on Thursday, September 3.

orma’s — the brightly colored open-air terrace restaurant that serves breakfast all day until 3 p.m., then transitions into dinner service. Mind you, the concept of breakfast at Norma’s can be a no-holds-barred extravaganza of decadent proportions There is no denying a contagious feeling of both calm and delight as you pull up a chair or slide into a booth to peruse the menu. Go spare and minimalist with the simplicity of poached eggs and half a grapefruit or go maximalist with any one of the French toast, waffle, or pancake concoctions. Go gluten-free, vegan, or vegetarian — they serve to change it up and please.

The white slump block and wood interior of Norma’s is a room open, friendly, and bright throughout the day — cozy, votive-lit, and discreet at night when the menu changes to a short selection of California-fresh, clean entrées prepared to classic perfection or with the subtlest twist on the standard. Comfortable, low-key, effortless.

bar — intimate and grandiose at the same time — designed like a jewel box. Dark emerald stone facings with mirrored accents, blackamoor sconces and lucite stools. Pull up a chair, christen it as your own and return daily for your split of champagne, your driest gin martini or your ruby colored negroni. Go solo or share the spirits — up to you. Wander a bit further into the lounge proper — a space that warms on a cool desert night — if not from drink then from the suspended fireplace and it’s seating surround. A mix of adjacent love seats, couches, and hanging chairs provide a setting for discreet tete-a-tetes as well as the occasional voyeur. Part mod, part modern, all comfort. Drink, eat, and be merry!

hat could be a more fitting adjacency to the Pétanque court than a citron presse? The charm and pluck of it has infiltrated the entire property. You haven’t experienced anything here if you haven’t made at least one stop at the Lemonade Stand. Order poolside or from beneath the striped awning stand. Seating also available.
